Get your friends to guess a secret word — but you can only speak in 33 painfully simple words. “Person want thing, other person make person have thing, person feel good!” (It’s a gift.)

How to play

One player is shown a secret word. Their job: using only the 33 simple words below (any combination, as many times as they like), get everyone else to guess it.
Everyone else guesses out loud. Questions are welcome — the describer answers with Yes, No, and more of the same 33 words.
When someone gets the word, the guesser and the describer each score a point. A new player becomes the describer and gets a new word. Most points at the end wins.
Or play in two teams (4+ players): teams alternate words, one member describes while only their teammates guess, and solved words score for the team.

How this version works

Play on a video call. The site deals the secret words, runs the clock, and keeps score.
The describer’s mic listens while they talk and shows a running trail of their clue on everyone’s screen. Only the 33 words appear — anything off-list shows as ✗ (never the word itself). The trail is just a supplement — a visual log of how the clues and guesses progressed (the game won’t penalize you based on detecting an invalid word, for example).
When someone shouts the answer, the describer taps their name to score the round. Typed guesses work too and win automatically — the describer can then override it if someone had actually shouted it first.
